Est 2010 - in the uk

No ordinary education event.

The Festival of Education brings thousands of educators together for days of ideas, debate and world-class speakers – set to live music, street food and summer sun. Where those who inspire find their own inspiration.

Our Mission

Learning should be inspiring, engaging and fun.

At the heart of the Festival is a simple belief: professional development doesn’t have to feel like a conference. It can feel like a festival — energising, sociable and joyful, the kind of experience that sends teachers back to the classroom reminded of why they chose the profession.

We’re non-partisan, with no political affiliation or ideology. Every part of the sector is welcome – state schools, independents, further and higher education, and every view gets a fair hearing.

One festival, many editions

Born in a marquee. Now wherever educators gather.

It started in 2010 on the lawns of Wellington College — keynotes and fierce debate alongside live music, street food and deckchairs. Sir Bob Geldof called it “Glastonbury for educators”.

Today that same warmth travels the world. Every edition is rooted in its own community, but each one shares the belief that great teaching deserves a celebration — not just a conference.
